ECO120 HayTemp – a compact hay thermometer for measuring hay storage.
Since stored hay or straw, etc., tends to overheat (loss of value) or even self-ignite, especially when the material moisture content is high due to biological processes, it is important to regularly check the temperature in the hay stock, especially in the case of freshly stored hay. There is a fire hazard at temperatures as low as 60°C. In addition, hay that is stored too moist degrades and thus endangers animal health. The ECO120 HayTemp provides optimal support for both farmers and fire brigades – for greater safety and quality in hay storage.
APPLICATIONS:
For measurements in hay and straw at depths of up to 4 or 6 m.
SENSOR:
The robust fibreglass probe with hardened cutting tip penetrates the storage easily to quickly and reliably measure the internal temperatures with the temperature sensor integrated in the tip.
